Community-based research is a powerful tool for understanding and addressing the needs and challenges faced by marginalized communities, including refugees. Our training program is designed to provide refugees with the skills and knowledge they need to successfully design and implement community-based research projects. The training includes both theoretical and practical components, and covers topics such as:

  • The principles of community-based research
  • How to design a research project that is relevant and meaningful to the community
  • How to build relationships and establish trust with community members
  • How to co-design and co-implement research projects with community members
  • How to use a range of research methods, such as interviews, focus groups, and surveys
  • How to analyze and interpret research data

Our training program is tailored to the needs and experiences of refugees and is designed to be culturally sensitive and responsive. We believe that by empowering refugees to engage in community-based research, we can build their skills and knowledge and contribute to their capacity building.
